Gday Andrej Win.
I hope this help's you out and does'nt confuse you even more
Basically Ballistic Coefficient (BC) means a projectiles (Aerodynamics). It's ability to retain velocity against air resistance.
Many factors contribute to a change in BC's, eg: Temperature's,Altitude and Barometric Pressure's.
That's why it important to re-sight your rifle's before hunting during the different season's of the year.
All factory projectiles are test fired in a Ballistic Research Laboratory against a test projectile and all data is calculated by computer's to determine the BC of the projectile.
Long, heavy hollow point boat tail projectiles (HPBT) generally have a higher BC and therefore maintain velocity over a longer distance, resulting in less bullet drop and better accuracy.
Basically a heavier longer projectile has a higher BC.
